ABOUT KRIS PARKER

Kris Parker, a native of Basildon, Essex, spent his formative years as one of three siblings, immersed in a world of sports and physical activities. From football and rugby to karate, swimming, and athletics, Kris embraced sports as a means to channel his energy, particularly grappling with ADHD. Despite his colourblindness, a keen eye for art manifested at a young age, hinting at an innate talent waiting to be explored.

At the age of 16, Kris embarked on his artistic journey by enrolling in Chelmsford College's art program while living in a youth hostel. However, the loss of his father figure, Grandad Charlie, led him down a darker path, resulting in over 10 years spent on and off in prison for various offenses, including armed robbery, firearms, drug supply, and assaulting a police officer.

While incarcerated, Kris found solace in art, using limited resources to create portraits for fellow inmates. This not only provided him with a means of income but also honed his artistic skills significantly, as he produced a portrait daily. Determined to turn his life around upon release, Kris continued to pursue art, starting in his sister's living room.

Fortune smiled upon Kris when the Swift brothers at SwiftFitness Gym recognised his potential and offered him a studio space in Earsham. With newfound support and a burgeoning friendship with Leanne, Kris delved into various art forms, expanding his techniques and capabilities. His talent didn't go unnoticed, catching the eye of entrepreneur Dan in February 2023.

Dan's entry into Kris's artistic journey marked a turning point. Through rebranding efforts and unwavering support, Dan helped propel Kris's work to new heights. Their friendship became a cornerstone of Kris's evolution, and within a short period, the duo garnered attention from media outlets, celebrities, and influencers.

Grateful for his growing social media following, Kris remains true to himself, staying humble despite the rapid success. His art not only reflects his life and passions but also delves into slightly violent cinematic influences, with nods to directors like Guy Ritchie and Martin Scorsese. As Kris continues this exciting journey, it's clear that this is just the beginning of his impact on the art world.
